To keep conversations professional, WhosOn comes with an inbuilt profanity filter. This means that your chat sessions are protected against inappropriate or abusive language.
The profanity filter works across both sides of a chat conversation, meaning that even internal chats are kept clean. Here’s how it works:
• Inside the WhosOn settings portal, you can choose to enable (or disable) our profanity filter
• This filter is based on a pre-set profanity list containing over 750 inappropriate words
• When one of these words is detected in a chat session, WhosOn will automatically mask the text
• The profanity is blocked server-side, meaning it will not be visible in the client or in transcripts
•Words can also be added or removed from the profanity list if needed
