WhosOn gives you tight control over your chat data. As part of this, you can choose to permanently delete chats and all their associated data.
Chat deletion is most useful for database cleansing, GDPR, and security purposes. Here’s everything you need to know:
• Admin users can delete a chat from the client, with instant effect
• If chat archiving into Azure is enabled, the chat will be deleted there too
• Day summary data (totals, average rating/sentiment etc.) will be refreshed on deletion
• All chat data is deleted, and the contact information held against the visitor record is cleared
• You can also send single-use files that delete from the server once downloaded
