You may need to send a mass message to all your online agents at once. So, WhosOn comes with a useful option for supervisors to post broadcast messages.
This is great for sharing memos, alerts or important updates — without having to send an individual chat message to every agent. Here’s how broadcast messages work:
• Only those with permission – supervisors and administrators – have the tool enabled
• They can then send a broadcast message to every logged-in agent simultaneously
• This will reach all agents logged into WhosOn alike, even those with ‘busy’ or ‘away’ statuses
• The broadcast appears as a banner message displayed at the top of the chat client
• Once read, the agent can dismiss the broadcast message by clicking ‘x’
