Integrating WhosOn Live Chat With 3rd Party Solutions

The WhosOn Client includes a custom form option. This enables a custom tab to be added to the visit details form that appears against visitors during live chat sessions and when viewing visit details.

This form can link to a web page of your choice. WhosOn passes all of the visitor information to your form via form variables.

You can specify the tab name and URL against the monitored site using the WhosOn server administrator. Each separate monitored site can have its own form if required.

You could use this form to capture industry-specific information from the visitor during chat sessions. You could configure the form to email the information along with the full chat transcript to a custom recipient or post the data to a CRM system or other 3rd party application.

The custom form option is included with the Enterprise Edition of WhosOn Installable. It is also available with the Hosted edition.
